Pump Skids:
Used in applications where the system is in continuous operation and cannot be shut down for maintenance, the skid typically has stand-by pumps that automatically start if there is a problem with the on line pumps or any one can be manually selected and taken off line if maintenance is needed.
The typical pump skid consists of pumps, valves, gauges and piping:
- All the pumps are fitted with isolation valves to allow maintenance and non-return valves to prevent back flow through the pump when it is in stand-by mode.
- Each set of pumps has a pressure gauge so that commissioning and running conditions can be verified.
- The pipework can be galvanised steel, stainless steel or ABS/PVC plastic.
- All mounted on a sturdy galvanised steel frames.
Pump Tank Modules:
Typically used in heat transfer applications involving chillers with variable process loadings, or in process not using standard packaged chiller Delta temperatures. These also typically have stand-by pumps that automatically start if there is a problem with the on line pumps or any one can be manually selected and taken off line if maintenance is needed.
The typical pump tank module consists of a weir tank, pumps, valves, gauges and piping:
- The weir tanks are normally GRP insulated and mounted above the pumps to allow the pumps to operate in a flooded suction environment.
- All the pumps are fitted with isolation valves to allow maintenance and non-return valves to prevent a back-flow through the pump when it is in stand-by mode.
- Each set of pumps has a pressure gauge so that commissioning and running conditions can be verified.
- The pipework can be galvanised steel, stainless steel or ABS/PVC plastic.
- All mounted on a sturdy galvanised steel frames.
