Either the customer can get a turnkey solution or civil construction can be in the customers own scope with engineering, supervision and mechanical assembly in GTPL’s scope. Counter Flow Cooling Towers – Gactel Turnkey Projects Limited offers concrete based counter flow cooling towers. In these cooling towers air takes away heat from water when it flows opposite to the flowing water. These towers can be customized as per the requirements of the customers with a range of options in piping, electrical, instrumentation, heat transfer media ie fills, water treatment etc. These type of cooling towers are offered both in turnkey or without civil works
Cross Flow Cooling Towers – Gactel Turnkey Projects Limited offers concrete based cross flow cooling towers. In these cooling towers air takes away heat from water when it flows at perpendicular direction to the flowing water. These towers can be customized as per the requirements of the customers with a range of options in piping, electrical, instrumentation, heat transfer media i.e. fills, water treatment etc. These type of cooling towers are offered both in turnkey or without civil works
Sea Water Application – Cooling towers are used for cooling hot water. When a cooling tower is near a saline i.e. sea water source, saline water is used in the recirculating water system. However due to the corroding effects of sea water on concrete structures special cooling tower structure along with corrosion prevention system (Impressed Current Corrosion Prevention System) is required. This system protects the reinforcing steel structure and concrete from degradation for a designed life time which is normally 50 years. The surface of the cooling tower is coated with special protection paints like polyurethanes to protect the surface from sea water contact.
