Lyophilizer

Lyophilization is a freeze drying process where the solvent is frozen prior to drying and then sublimed. This type of drying is widely used in food industry and also finding application in pharmaceutical industry. Few pharmaceutical products requiring specific polymorph are established with freeze drying.

Although earlier Lyophilization was only available at smaller capacities now the same is available at industrial scale and being widely used in pharmaceutical industry.
