Low temperature drying along with mixing is very essential for heat sensitive chemicals, pharmaceutical formulation etc. Roto Cone Vacuum Dryer is a useful machine for effective drying. Due to vacuum the drying becomes fast at low temperature and because of rotating action the mixing is also possible, hence reduces the total process time.

The Roto Cone Vacuum Dryer is consisting of following main components
• Drying Chamber 
• Structure
• Solvent Recovery System 
• Control Panel.

Drying Chamber: 

The Drying chamber consisting of Double Cone and shell with Jacket for Hot water circulation, Insulation and Cladding. Within the chamber there are lump breakers which not only avoid the formation of lumps or block but also they allow to mill and powder the product during the last phase of the drying Process. The Drying takes place due to the circulation of the Hot water in the jacket through rotary joint and vacuum inside. The continuous revolving action of the dryer gives the uniform mixing of the product. The wet product is charged into dryer through Manhole and dry powder is discharged through outlet butterfly valve.

Structure: 

The Drying chamber is mounted on the ‘A’ type sq. pipe structure with the help of the Water shaft and Vacuum Shaft on either side. The dryer rotates in its own axis with the help of these shafts at either side.

Solvent Recovery System: 

The recovery of the solvents present in the wet powder is easily possible with Condenser and Receiver. The vapors from the drying chamber get extracted through filter along with Vacuum. The vapors then passed through the Cyclone separator where the small amount of powder gets separated if present. The vapors then enter into condenser where it gets condensed due to chilled water. The condensate then gets collected into the receiver.

Control Panel: 

Non FLP / FLP, PLC based Electro-pneumatic control panel is provided. The panel is designed as per the Indian Electrical Standard norms.

Fully stainless steel construction with Internal 320 grit mirror finish and external 240 grit mirror finish.
