A heat exchanger is a piece of equipment built for efficient heat transfer from one medium to another. The media may be separated by a solid wall, so that they never mix, or they may be in direct contact.

The classic example of a heat exchanger is found in an internal combustion engine in which a circulating fluid known as engine coolant flows through radiator coils and air flows past the coils, which cools the coolant and heats the incoming air.
 
Air Cooled Condenser:
 
A finned-tube (extended-surface) heat exchanger with hot fluids inside the tubes, and cooling air that is fan-blown (forced draft) or fan-pulled (induced draft) across the tube bank.
We manufactured from 3/8″, 1/2″ and 5/8″ OD Copper Tubes or Stainless Steel Tubes having Aluminium Fins.
Standard Fan Coil is designed for air flow capacity of 400 CFM to 800 CFM for horizontal air discharge and for vertical air discharge. They are available with housing in sight or in wall mounted or ceiling mounted versions.
Capacity: Material of construction can be designed as per customer requirement.
Fin Materials – Aluminium, Copper, Stainless Steel, CRCA (Cold Rolled Close Annealed Sheet Steel), and hot dip Galvanized CRCA.
Tube Materials – Copper, Stainless Steel, Cupronickel, Carbon Steel.

A plate type heat exchanger is a type of heat exchanger that uses metal plates to transfer heat between two fluids. This has a major advantage over a conventional heat exchanger in that the fluids are exposed to a much larger surface area because the fluids spread out over the plates. This facilitates the transfer of heat, and greatly increases the speed of the temperature change. It is not as common to see plate heat exchangers because they need well-sealed gaskets to prevent the fluids from escaping, although modern manufacturing processes have made them feasible.

Marine Heat Exchangers:
 
A marine heat exchanger provides the cooling for a marine engine. In basic form it is a bundle of tubes where two cooling circuits meet and exchange the heat. This could be in the cooling circuit of an engine (marine heat exchanger) the oil circuit (oil cooler) or intake air (inter cooler).
They are available in tubular form, or with an integral header tank, and models are available to suit engines of various outputs.

AIR COOLED CONDENSER:
 
Refrigerant condenser coils are suitable for use in a wide variety of HVAC air conditioning (condensing) and heat recovery applications. Standard and custom designs are available for new and retrofit installations. This proprietary program allows the user to vary coil circuiting (feeds and passes), fin spacing, and materials of construction to reach the optimum coil selection for any refrigerant and set of operating conditions in ways just not possible with other manufacturers’ software. Copper, cupro-nickel, aluminum, and stainless steel tubes and fins are available for condenser coils to match the operating conditions and level of corrosion resistance needed for your application. Custom replacement coils are a Colmac specialty. Our applications engineers will assist you in matching existing coil construction and dimensions to create the “perfect fit” for your replacement coil project.

‘L’ FINNED TUBE:
 
The strip material is subjected to controlled deformation under tension giving the optimum contact pressure of the foot of the fin onto the base tube thus maximising the heat transfer properties.The foot of the fin considerably enhances the corrosion protection of the base tube.
 
MAXIMUM WORKING TEMPERATURE: 150°C

‘LL’ FINNED TUBE:
 
Manufactured in the same way as the ‘L’ finned tube type except that the fin foot is overlapped to completely enclose the base tube thereby giving excellent corrosion resistance. This type of finned tube is often used as an alternative to the more expensive extruded type fin in corrosive environments.
 
MAXIMUM WORKING TEMPERATURE: 180°C

‘KL’ FINNED TUBE:
 
Manufactured exactly as the ‘L’ finned tube except that the base tube is knurled before application of the fin foot. After application, the fin foot is knurled into the corresponding knurling on the base tube thereby enhancing the bond between the fin and tube, resulting in improved heat transfer characteristics.
 
MAXIMUM WORKING TEMPERATURE: 260°C

G’ EMBEDDED FINNED TUBE:
 
The fin strip is wound into a machined groove and securely locked into place by back filling with base tube material. This ensures that maximum heat transfer is maintained at high tube metal temperatures.

EXTRUDED FINNED TUBE:
 
This fin type is formed from a bi-metallic tube consisting of an aluminium outer tube and an inner tube of almost any material. The fin is formed by rolling material from the outside of the exterior
Tube to give an integral fin with excellent heat transfer properties and longevity. Extruded fin offers excellent corrosion protection of the base tube.
 
MAXIMUM WORKING TEMPERATURE: 285°C
FIN MATERIALS: ALUMINIUM,.
